The Testaments
The story of The Handmaid's Tale continues on Disney+ with The Testaments.
And how did we make sure everyone heard about it? By taking Gilead off the screen and into the real world.
On the metro, at university, in the streets… Gilead had arrived.
Madrid was invaded by messages banning women's freedoms. And just like in the series, we all found we could no longer live our lives the same way. Even Ariane Hoyos found her own business shut down!
What if the show's protagonists got to know our city?
This time, the bus carrying the girls of Gilead made a few extra stops. We took the protagonists around Madrid's most iconic spots. A performance that left no one indifferent, not even Inés Hernand.
Because the best way to get to know a story is to live it.
